The White House today tweeted about the announcement, leaving fans super excited. After performing at the United Nations in New York, BTS is all set to fly down to the States again to be a part of the important discussion.
According to reports. South Korean supergroup BTS will be heading to the White House on May 31. They will discuss Asian inclusion and representation with US President Biden. As announced by The White House, topics of Anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination based on colour will be a part of the agenda. The discussion comes timely at the end of May, which is regarded as the Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month (AANHPI Heritage Month).

BTS have earlier addressed the issue of Asian Hate and have taken an important stand. A letter by the group calling out anti-Asian discrimination and hate crimes was one of the most retweeted post on Twitter in 2021. In March 2021, BTS posted a statement against the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes especially during the pandemic.
BTS will also be making their much-awaited comeback this June with their anthology album, Proof. The comeback is due three days before their 9th debut anniversary.
