Bombay High Court grants relief to Rakesh Omprakash Mehra in property dispute case

Rakesh Omprakash Mehra had approached the Bombay High Court with a suit for a dispute between his building society and the developer. The next court hearing will take place in the second week of October.

Bombay High Court has granted relief to filmmaker Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and dismissed an application filed by a land developer for return of suit (filed by Mehra with another petitioner) to the "proper Court" from the high court.

The application sought that the suit filed by Mehra along with PS Bharathi and Nissa Hoosain Nensey in the high court be either sent to a Co-operative Court or an arbitral tribunal.
