India Today
This aviation inspired F 900 R special edition will be limited to 300 units and will only be sold in France. With a bright new livery and some extra kit as standard we take a hopefully closer look at this new special edition.
We test rode the new BMW F900R a while back and instantly fell in love with it’s tremendously friendly but equally potent parallel twin motor. Now BMW Motorrad has announced a special edition of the Roadster that will be limited to 300 units, and for some reason will only be sold in France. The very-cool contrasting custom paint scheme will be exclusively for this motorcycle, aptly called the BMW F 900 R Force. Apart from the blue and neon livery, that has been inspired by the aviation industry, the F 900 R Force also gets a whole laundry list of optional upgrades as standard. Pricing seems irrelevant since this special edition model will be limited to only the French market. While it may look visually striking, it’s all cosmetic. The BMW 900 R Force will continue to be powered by the 895cc parallel twin that makes 105bhp, although BMW French buyers can opt for a A2 restricted version that puts out a more accessible 45bhp.
