A Bengaluru-based woman took her parents to her workplace and was surprised to find that they ended up interacting with her manager about her behaviour at work.
Tejaswini Anand shared a video of the moment on Instagram, which has prompted similar responses from several other social media users.
The clip shows her parents speaking to her manager inside the office premises while she stands by. In the video, she suggested that while many people look forward to parents visiting their workplace, her experience was somewhat different, with her parents using the opportunity to discuss her behaviour with her manager.
“Every parent enjoys office visits, while mine asks my manager about my behaviour. From PTA meetings to this, it never ends,” the text overlay on the video read.
The caption added a cultural spin to the moment, saying, “Just brown parents being themselves.”
