A Bengaluru cop helped two stranded bikers after their bike ran out of petrol near a police station, and the small act of kindness has now earned a whole lot of praise online.
The incident was posted on R/Bangalore under the title “You won’t believe what Bangalore Police did.” The user described how the situation unfolded late at night when they and a friend were heading home after dinner.
“Last night, my friend and I were leaving a restaurant when we realised our vehicle was almost out of petrol,” the user wrote. They explained that they initially thought they would somehow manage to reach a petrol pump, but the plan didn’t work out.
“But obviously, the bike stopped right in the middle of the road, exactly in front of Basavanagudi Police Station in Bangalore.”
Stranded and unsure what to do next, the user admitted they were worried about the situation escalating into a problem. “We were low-key panicking, thinking this is about to become a problem,” the post read.
Instead, the response they received was the opposite of what they expected.
