Sumbul Touqeer has opened up about the hardships faced in her career. The Imlie star is one of the contestants on Bigg Boss 16.

Imilie actress Sumbul Touqeer has entered the Bigg Boss 16 house. The actress is the youngest contestant of this season. She is 18. Sumbul is looking forward to her stint on BB16 and in an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actress revealed why she is agreed to be a part of the show. "I think the reason for doing Bigg Boss 16 is that it is a very different kind of a show. And I wanted to do something different," said Sumbul.

Speaking exclusively to IndiaToday.in, Sumbul Touqeer revealed the hardships faced in her career. "There were a lot of difficulties. When you start your career, you face hardships. Thali pe saja hua sab nahi mil pata hain. We have to give auditions and post that there is a long procedure that has to be followed. At that time, it was just me, my father and my younger sister. Whenever I would lose hope, my father was there to give me strength," she said.

The actress further mentioned she was stereotyped in her career. "Talking about getting stereotyped, there was a phase in my career when I would get calls only to play a sister's role. Main har jagah behen ho gayi thi - I was either the hero's sister or the heroine's sister. This has happened a lot to me. But Imlie broke all those stereotypes and now I am here [in Bigg Boss 16] to break Imlie's stereotype," she added.

Talking about her game plan for Bigg Boss 16, Sumbul stated, "I don't have a game plan for the show. I just want to play the game as Sumbul Touqeer, the way I am in real life. Zyada kuch nahi karna chahti main."

On a concluding note, the 18-year-old revealed her strengths and weaknesses. "My strength is the poems which my father has written and given me. They are etched in my memory. Even if I might fall weak sometimes, those poems will help me. And as far as my weakness is concerned, I get hungry a lot," she signed off.
