In an interview, Bappa Lahiri revealed that he used to be ragged in his school because of his dad, Bappi Lahiri. Read the hilarious incident inside.

Bappi Lahiri's passing away saddened the entire nation. The disco king of Bollywood breathed his last on the night of February 15 after suffering multiple health issues. A few days after his unfortunate demise, Bappi Da's son Bappa Lahiri, recently did an interview, in which he recalled being ragged in school because of his father, Bappi Lahiri. The singer went down memory lane and recalled the hilarious incident.

It is a well-known fact that Bappi Lahiri loved to wear gold. And because of that, his son Bappa's friends used to rag him in school. Talking to Times Of India, Bappa recalled, "Well, he definitely wore it each time we went out. I remember my friends ragging me in school, saying that your father dresses so flashily and wears sunglasses even in daylight. I used to ask him why he needs sunglasses at 6 am. But if he was out, he always wanted to be tip-top. He chose his own clothes. He chose his own colours."

It seems Bappa Lahiri has no plans to return to Los Angeles anytime soon. Bappa went on to add that he wants to be there for his mother. The singer revealed that his mother lived her entire life for his dad, Bappi Lahiri. "I still can't believe that he is not around. I was his arranger. I used to do shows with him. There are so many memories. The love we are getting from everyone is unbelievable. My dad was not just a musician or singer, he connected with everyone- right from a porter to a rickshawallah to every single soul," said Bappa.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that Bappi Da's prayer meeting will take place today.
