
Apple will require office-going employees to get Covid-19 booster shots or face frequent testing

In a new email, Apple has specified the new norms for its employees working from offices or retail stores. The one big condition is for the employees to get the Covid-19 booster shots within four weeks of being eligible for the same.
Amid the increasing Omicron cases, Apple has now tightened up the norms for employees working in its stores and corporate offices in the US. The company now requires employees to get a Covid-19 booster shot to come to the workplace. If not, they might be subjected to frequent Covid-19 tests before entering the workplace.
The information was shared in a recent email sent internally to employees. As seen by The Verge, the email mentions that the new norms will be in effect starting February 15. Post the date, any employee who is eligible for a booster dose should be vaccinated.
