According to notable Apple analyst and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman (via MacRumors), the company could launch new iPad Pro, Mac, and Apple TV models in October, though the exact launch date remains unclear. If the rumour is accurate, Apple would likely add news products on its products quietly on the website and store app - similar to the launch of the Apple AirPods Pro Max over-ear headphones.
The report by MacRumors quoting Gurman's latest newsletter states, "the big iPhone 14 unveiling last month was probably it for Apple in 2022 in terms of major presentations". This suggests that Apple is not hosting an event this month, and we're likely done with its events for this year. Notably, the same reporter had claimed that Apple would launch a slew of devices this year.
Apple is yet to unveil new iPad Pro models this year. In 2021, the company upgraded the iPad Pro lineup with an M1 chipset that also powers Apple's MacBooks. Moreover, Apple is said to launch new M2-powered Pro PCs. That means we could see new MacBook Pros and a Mac mini. Apple also refreshed its MacBook Pro model last year with the notch, which it extended to this year's MacBook Air. Gurman had also claimed that Apple would launch Apple TV with an A14 chip and an increased 4GB of RAM this year. He said the Apple TV is "getting closer and could potentially launch this year."
MacRumors report quoting Gurman adds that Apple will not revive Touch ID on the next-gen iPhone 14. Gurman can envision a new iPhone SE with a Touch ID power button on the side, but he hasn't "heard anything about that actually being in the pipeline."
