Anushka Sharma's brother Karnesh on her exit from Clean Slate Filmz: It didn't come as a surprise

In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Anushka Sharma's brother, Karnesh Ssharma, opened up about the actress' exit from Clean Slate Filmz. He said her decision didn't come as a surprise as they already spoke about it.
On March 19, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma quit Clean Slate Filmz, a production venture which she used to head with her brother Karnesh Ssharma. The actress penned a long note citing various reasons why she chose to bow out of the production house. Now, in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Anushka's brother Karnesh revealed how he reacted to the actress' decision to quit their production venture.
During an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Karnesh Ssharma said, "It didn't come as a surprise as we spoke about it. I think it is a very personal decision with where she is in her life right now. I think she is there with us in spirit, as she is aware of the things happening. It is just that she wants to concentrate on motherhood and acting. And producing films takes a lot of time and she doesn't have the liberty of time now. But we are family and family stays irrespective of what happens."
Though she no longer works as a producer with Clean Slate Filmz, Anushka Sharma will continue to act in the production house's projects.
Opening up about the same, Karnesh added, "Of course, she will (act). Why not? Anushka has been vocal about it to the media itself. As an actor, she is the best out there. And we really want to do stuff with her. We have Chakda Express with Netflix, which she is a part of. Going ahead, you will see her in a lot of Clean Slate (Filmz) ventures."
On the work front, Anushka Sharma will mark her comeback to acting after 4 years with Chakda Express. The film is based on the life of an Indian woman cricketer, Jhulan Goswami.
