TDP General Secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh on Thursday asked why the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government was not postponing the examinations when it had deferred the Cabinet meeting in view of the Covid-19 second wave threat. Lokesh demanded the chief minister to explain whether the lives of lakhs of students were not as important as the lives of the 30 ministers in his Cabinet. "There would be scope for holding Cabinet with physical distance between the Ministers but it would be difficult to do so for lakhs of students at thousands of examination centres,’’ said Lokesh.
