A Mumbai resident, particularly Amitabh Bachchan's neighbour, was invited to Jalsa, the superstar's home, after his viral Instagram video about the actor's Sunday greetings caught the star's attention.
A Mumbai resident’s Instagram video capturing Amitabh Bachchan’s Sunday greeting ritual outside his Juhu home has led to a memorable personal meeting with the actor at his residence, Jalsa.
Nirmit Jesrani, who lives in the neighbourhood, had shared a behind-the-scenes clip highlighting the large crowds that gather every Sunday outside Bachchan’s bungalow. In the video, Jesrani also spoke about the actor’s humility and the significance of the long-running tradition, which sees Bachchan step out to greet fans each week. The video quickly went viral on social media.
Following the clip’s online traction, Jesrani received a message from Bachchan’s team inviting him for a meeting at Jalsa on Monday, February 9, 2026. The appointment was scheduled for 5 pm.
Jesrani later shared photographs from the meeting on social media, including a picture with the actor and an autograph he received. Expressing his excitement, he wrote that the experience was unforgettable and that he had spent the entire day thinking about the meeting.
Recounting the interaction, Jesrani said Bachchan greeted fans during the Sunday darshan before meeting him. He added that when he attempted to touch the actor’s feet, Bachchan stopped him and asked him not to. Jesrani described the actor as humble and gracious, noting that Bachchan readily posed for photographs.

Aditya Dhar doesn't make it easy to watch Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He lets you experience the discomfort, the silence that haunts and the screams that linger longer than you want. But at the centre of it all is India's clear policy: anti-terror, not anti-Pakistan. Consider this your spoiler warning.
