Ajith's latest picture ahead of AK 61 shoot is now going viral on social media. The film will go on floors in April in Hyderabad.

After Valimai, Ajith is now in prepping mode for his upcoming film, AK 61. Directed by H Vinoth, the film will also be produced by Boney Kapoor. Ajith's latest photo in his new look found its way to the internet and is now doing the rounds. The film's shooting will commence sometime in April in Hyderabad. Soon, an announcement on the same will be made.

Ajith Kumar was last seen in director H Vinoth's Valimai. Though the film received mixed reviews from the critics and audience alike, it did great business at the box office. Valimai is currently streaming on Zee5 in multiple languages.

Recently, a photo of Ajith with his fan went viral on social media. Clad in an all-white outfit, Ajith looked dapper with a beard. This is his look for his upcoming film, which is tentatively titled AK 61.

The shooting of AK 61 will commence in April in Hyderabad. Reportedly, Ajith is on a diet and has shed few kilos to look the part. The cast and crew are being finalised currently.

When Ajith played a cameo in late Sridevi's English Vinglish, he developed a close rapport with her family. After Sridevi's demise, Ajith and Boney Kapoor decided to collaborate. Initially, they joined hands for Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of Pink. The film was directed by H Vinoth.

After Nerkonda Paarvai, Ajith, H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor joined hands for Valimai. AK 61 marks their third collaboration.
