Agra Police launches 'Cyber Peace' awareness campaign

Agra Additional Director General (ADG) of Police Rajiv Krishna on Monday launched a cyber awareness campaign to make the public aware of cyber crime threats and ways to avoid becoming victims of cyber fraud.

Agra Police on Monday launched a cyber awareness campaign for the public in order to make them aware of the rising threats of cyber security and ways in which criminals commit fraud on the internet. The initiative, 'Cyber Peace Jagrukta' campaign, was launched by Agra Additional Director General (ADG) of Police Rajiv Krishna at a time when the city has seen a rise in the number of cybercrimes of late, wherein social media profiles of senior police officers were cloned and used to extract money from commoners.
