After Stalin, now AIADMK promises Rs 1,500 per month to women family heads

Day after DMK promised Rs 1,000 per household to women family heads if the party was voted to power, the AIADMK went a step ahead and promised an assistance of Rs 1,500 per month to women heads of households.

The AIADMK in Tamil Nadu has assured assistance of Rs 1,500 per month to women heads of households, as part of its promises for the Assembly election. Making the announcement on Women's Day, AIADMK leader and Chief Minister K Palaniswami also promised six cooking gas cylinders free of cost to families in a year.
