Alia Bhatt tested positive for Covid-19 recently. The shoot of her upcoming film, Gangubai Kathiawadi, has been put on hold.

The shooting of Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi has been put on hold since the actress tested positive for the novel coronavirus recently. Earlier too, the film’s shooting had to be stopped on several occasions. First, there was the nationwide lockdown due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Then director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had tested positive because of which the shoot had to be put on hold. The people associated with Gangubai Kathiawadi are concerned about their safety ever since Alia Bhatt has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has ordered a halt on the film’s shoot. Gangubai Kathiawadi was being shot in Mumbai since the last year and the film was in its last leg. However, since Alia has tested positive, the shoot has now been halted and the film will take more time to complete.
