The release of Adivi Sesh-starrer Major has been postponed again. The makers of his film shared an official statement.
Due to the unprecedented times that we are living in, the makers of Adivi Sesh-starrer Major have decided to postpone the film's release yet again. The movie was scheduled to hit the big screens on February 11, 2022. However, due to the surge in Covid-19 cases, the makers found it wise to delay the film's release. Just a while ago, the makers of Major issued an official statement.
The official statement by the makers reads, "Given the current situation and restrictions in various parts of the country, the release of Major stands postponed. Major is a film made for India and we will release it only when the situation improves across the country. Till then, please take care of yourself and stay safe."
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared this update on his official Instagram handle. "MAJOR' RELEASE POSTPONED... The release of #MajorTheFilm stands postponed due to the pandemic... The new release date would be announced later... OFFICIAL STATEMENT...(sic)" his post read.

Adivi Sesh's Major has been directed by Sashi Karan Tikka. It was shot simultaneously in two languages - Telugu and Hindi. At the same time, it will be released in Malayalam as well. The Sashi Karan Tikka directorial is an untold story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film traces his life from childhood, teenage to his years in the army and, tragic events of the Mumbai 26/11 attacks.
