Reacting to this infamous incident, Abhay Deol recreated it in a funny manner and left the netizens in splits.
The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor posted a video on Instagram, in which a girl could be seen slapping Abhay. After getting slapped by the girl, Abhay looks straight into the camera and gives a shocked expression. Sharing this boomerang video on his official Instagram handle, the actor wrote, "@itsanitarani telling me about the Oscars (sic)."
Abhay Deol had earlier mentioned in his caption, "@itsanitarani telling me about the Oscars. I’d have stood up and turned the other cheek if I knew what was coming! (sic)."
