This clip of a 95-year-old man getting a wonderful birthday wish inside an aircraft is a perfect fit for the second category. Shared on Twitter by Good News Correspondent, the video was shot inside an airplane operated by Southwest Airlines in the US.
In the clip, the nonagenarian identified as Jack McCarthy can be seen smiling as the flight attendant makes an announcement. “We are so happy to have you on our aircraft today and we would all like to sing happy birthday to you,” they announced.
Shortly after, each passenger inside the plane was asked to close their windows and turn on the reading lights above their heads so that it resembled birthday candles.
"My dad turned 95 and I asked Southwest Airlines for a simple birthday shout out and they did this. Flight attendants asked passengers to close their windows and turn on their reading lights to replicate birthday candles," read the caption.
