345 cadets commissioned after passing out from Officers Training Academy in Chennai

Three hundred forty-five cadets commissioned at OTA Chennai, celebrating their transformation into officers with a grand military parade.
A total of 318 officer cadets and 27 officer cadets (women) were commissioned into various arms and services of the Indian Army, after passing out the training programme at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) here on Saturday.
Cadets from foreign countries (Bhutan and Tanzania) successfully completed their training, fostering bonds of camaraderie and cooperation across international borders.
The hallowed Parameshwaran Drill Square at the Academy bore witness to a magnificent display of military parade on Saturday morning. This event marked the culmination of months of gruelling training of the cadets, to transform them into officers.

The parade was reviewed by Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General Officer Commanding-In-Chief of the Western Command.
He also commended cadets and OTA staff for their perseverance, resilience, and exemplary achievements, exhorting the newly commissioned officers to uphold the cardinal military values of ‘Selfless Service to the Nation’ and steadfast pursuit of excellence in all endeavours.
