Hero MotoSports Team Rally delivered a top 5 finish in stage 3 of the ongoing Rallye Du Maroc.
Hero MotoSports Team Rally had a great Monday in the office as the team delivered a top 5 finish in stage 3 of the ongoing Rallye Du Maroc. Sebastian Buhler finished in P2 and Franco Caimi in P5. Starting the stage from P17, Buhler was on the pace immediately. Trialing new components on his bike in preparation for Dakar 2022, he was within the top 3 at every checkpoint, finishing in P2.
Caimi also rode with the aim of gaining more experience on the bike, while also sharpening his navigation skills in race conditions. His steady ride rewarded him with a P5 finish. Joaquim Rodrigues, who remains a contender for a top finish in the rally, delivered a determined ride. Despite losing time early in the stage, he recovered well to finish in P9. He remains at P11 in the overall rankings.
