Adressing the state a day ahead of Martyr's Day, West Bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said that not a day goes by without remembering the supreme sacrifice of our martyrs.
"21st July 2022 is only a day away and as the preparations near completion, we are brimming with emotions," she said.
Remembering the brave martyrs, Mamata Banerjee added, "We are taken back in time as we remember the faces of our brave martyrs and not a day goes by in our lives without remembering the supreme sacrifice of our martyrs."

The TMC observes July 21 as Martyrs' Day every year in remembrance of the 13 people killed in police firing in 1993 during a rally of the Youth Congress, of which Mamata Banerjee was then a leader.
