Fitness enthusiast Milind Soman has a special rule for people who want to take selfies with him. Yes, it involves a few push-ups.
Milind Soman is a fitness enthusiast and always urges his fans to stay fit. The supermodel and actor often shares snippets from his workout routine with inspirational messages. In his recent post, he shared that he asks his fans to perform push-ups whenever they ask him for a selfie. Yes, you read that right.
In case you ever come across Milind Soman and wish to get a photo done with him, you will first have to do push-ups right there in front of him, a minimum of 20 if you are a boy, and at least 10 if you are a girl. You will be surprised to know that he first created this rule to dissuade people from taking pictures. However, it turned out, people happily took this challenge and Milind continued it to motivate them further.
The 56-year-old actor took to Instagram and shared several photos and videos of people performing push-ups in order to get clicked with him. In his post, he also revealed that there are a few exceptions to the rule.

“Fight lazy! Since the beginning of the selfie era, now so many years ago, I have a rule that I don't take a selfie with a person if they don't do pushups. The original reason was to dissuade them from taking the picture, but I soon realised, and happily, that almost everyone was willing to take up the challenge of this simple and most basic exercise. Minimum of 10 for girls and 20 for guys. I decided on 20 pushups because that's what my mother could do at age 80,” he wrote in the caption.
“When you try this you realise that you can do it and maybe that motivates you to do more, or you can't and you might be motivated to start taking better care of yourself. There are exceptions to the rule: pregnancy, recent injury or someone wearing a uniform. Start today for a better tomorrow! (sic),” he further added.
