Yim Si-wan makes special appearance as Jeon Mi-do’s co-star in Kdrama Thirty-Nine

Yim Si-wan joins Jeon Mi-do’s co-star for a cameo in Kdrama Thirty-Nine. He was last seen in Run On.

Thirty-Nine's latest episode on Netflix featured popular Korean actor Yim Si-wan. The actor was last seen in Run On. In the tenth episode, Si-wan made a special appearance as Jeon Mi-do’s co-star in her debut acting project .

Yim Si-wan played himself in Thirty-Nine. In the series, Cha Mi-jo- (Son Ye-jin) and Jang Jo-hee (Kim Ji-hyun) can be seen smitten by the actor. While Mi-jo brings a card to take Si-wan's autograph, Joo-hee gets his sign on his phone with a marker.

Thirty Nine revolves around three friends who bonded while they were in high school and are now on the verge of turning 40. The drama traces the journey of three 39-year-old women and how they face unforeseen circumstances.

In the series, Son Ye-jin plays Cha Mi-jo, who is the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Her character is warm and caring who grew up in a well-to-do family. Jeon Mi-do is Jung Chan-young, who aspired to be an actress but things didn't work out and she became an acting teacher instead. Her world came crashing down after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Kim Ji-hyun is seen as Jang Joo-hee, who works as a cosmetics manager at a department store and has never been in a romantic relationship.
