Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 10 line-up in March with three devices Note 10, Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max before adding the Note 10S and Note 10T 5G in the coming months. It is now set to add a sixth device to the series, probably soon after the Redmi 10 Prime is introduced. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek tweeted on August 23 that Xiaomi might be planning to launch the Redmi Note 10 Lite in Indian soon. He suggested that this can be a rebranded variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The smartphone was launched in 2020 alongside the Redmi Note 9 pro Max. The same smartphone was also launched globally as the Redmi Note 9S.
