Former Australia captain Michael Clarke highlighted Jasprit Bumrah's match-winning abilities ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 final, claiming that the star pacer could end up being the Player Of The Match in the India vs New Zealand clash in Ahmedabad.
With anticipation building for the T20 World Cup 2026 final between India and New Zealand, Michael Clarke has singled out Jasprit Bumrah as a potential game-changer. The final, set to take place on Sunday, March 8, in Ahmedabad, comes after India's narrow seven-run victory over England in a high-scoring semifinal, where Bumrah played a pivotal role.
Clarke's comments focus on Bumrah's consistent impact throughout the tournament, praising his ability to deliver under pressure in key moments. The star pacer bowled the 18th over, where he gave away just six runs. This was followed by another tight over from Hardik Pandya, which sealed the deal for India in the end.

"One thing is having so many options (variations), but most importantly, having the skills to execute under pressure. This is what makes him the best in the world. He has been a defining factor for India. I wouldn't be surprised if he is Man of the Match in the final. He's just so dominant," said Clarke.
