
Woman, three daughters injured in LPG cylinder blast near Mangaluru

A woman and her three daughters were injured in a suspected LPG cylinder blast in their house in Manjanady village, Ullal taluk, near Mangaluru at night on December 7.
The injured are Khubra, 35, wife of Mutthalib, resident of Khandika near Manjanady, and their three daughters, one aged 14 and the other two 10 years. They were admitted to a private hospital in Deralakatte. Their condition is stated to be stable.

Due to the blast at midnight, the roof of the house was damaged while the room where the mother and daughters were sleeping, was completely gutted. Hearing the sound and commotion, neighbours rushed to the spot and doused the fire before shifting the injured to the hospital.
Konaje police have registered a case.
