Woman arrested after video of her assaulting bus driver in Vijayawada goes viral

Vijayawada police arrested Nandini for assaulting a government bus driver. Several people recorded the incident on their mobile cameras.
Vijayawada police had arrested a 28-year-old woman, K Nandini, for allegedly attacking a state transport corporation bus driver. The incident took place on Wednesday, February 9.
When the incident was taking place, several people nearby captured the entire incident on their mobile cameras.
The woman, who was driving her scooter, allegedly climbed inside the bus and thrashed the driver Musalaiah (42), who was driving the bus AP 11 Z 7046.
According to the police, Nandini was driving on the wrong side of the road. The driver had asked her to wait for some time so that he could move the bus. This led to a heated argument and the woman entered the bus and began assaulting the driver.
Based on the complaint lodged by the bus driver, the Suryaraopet police booked a case and arrested the accused woman under the relevant sections.
