Bratya Basu, the education minister of West Bengal, said on Tuesday that the West Bengal government will not accept attempts by the central government to force the National Education Policy (NEP) on the state as Bengal has its own culture and education system.
The state Education Minister further warned that since education falls under the Concurrent List, the central government should not ram its own point of view through the new policy.
