Will CBSE conduct ‘truncated’ Class 12 board exams? Here is all you need to know

CBSE is currently considering alternate methods for the conduction of Class 12 board exams, including shorter formats and objective questions.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the central government is yet to announce their final decision regarding the conduction of the Class 12 board exams 2021, and are currently considering other options and changes in format for the exam. In the meeting conducted by the Centre on May 23, one of the two options suggested by CBSE regarding the conduction of the exams in the middle of the pandemic was the shorter format or the ‘truncated’ version of the exams. Though many states have been opposed to the first option of the conduction of the Class 12 board exams, they seem keen on conducting the exams in a truncated format this year, which will guarantee fair evaluation for all the subjects.
