'Why did you choose Salman Khan for Godfather and not me?' asks Aamir. Chiranjeevi responds

In a recent media interaction, Aamir Khan asked why Megastar Chiranjeevi chose Salman Khan over him for Godfather? Chiranjeevi gave a funny yet thoughtful answer.

Aamir Khan's upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha, will be presented by Megastar Chiranjeevi in the Telugu states. At a recent media interaction, Aamir asked Chiranjeevi why he picked Salman Khan over him for a cameo in his upcoming film, Godfather. Megastar Chiranjeevi explained the reason behind choosing Salman Khan and burst into laughter.

Aamir Khan arranged a special screening of Laal Singh Chaddha at Megastar Chiranjeevi's residence in Hyderabad. SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna and Sukumar attended the screening.

During a recent media interaction, Megastar Chiranjeevi asked Aamir Khan whether he had any plans to do cameos in Telugu films. The Bollywood actor said, "I would love to." He then said, "You see I was telling Chiranjeevi garu that ‘please allow me to do something for you’. Then he said, ‘I will call you’. And two days later, he told me that, ‘I was shooting with Salman (Khan) and he was telling me something about the movie’. Then I asked him, ‘You didn’t call me. You call Salman?,'

However, Chiranjeevi had a solid reason for his choice. Chiranjeevi said, "The role was not about heart and brain, it was about physicality. So we opted for Salman."

Salman Khan will play a cameo role in director Mohan Raja's Godfather. The film is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam superhit venture, Lucifer. Godfather is on the verge of completion.
