Ranveer Singh can be seen getting mobbed on the red carpet of SIIMA 2022 in a new video. The Gully Boy star can be seen holding his cheek after being accidentally hit by the bodyguard at the event.
Ranveer Singh recently attended the 10th South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), which took place in Bengaluru on Saturday, September 10. The actor who enjoys a huge fan following across the country, was mobbed at the event where guards had to intervene to keep the people away from the Simmba star. While managing the fans, one of the bodyguards mistakenly slapped Ranveer Singh.
Ranveer Singh won Most Popular Hindi Actor award at SIIMA 2022. A video of from the event has gone viral where Ranveer Singh is all smiles while meeting his fans and clicking selfies with them at SIIMA 2022. However, when things went out of hand, his bodyguards intervened. While managing the fans, one of his bodyguards slapped Ranveer by mistake. After the incident, Ranveer was seen holding his cheek. But, he did not lose his cool and soon brushed off the incident.

Ranveer won the trophy for Most Popular Hindi Actor in South India category. When he went to the stage to receive the award, he won over everyone by recreating popular Pushpa dialogue, main jhukega nahi.
He said, “Can’t take a shot like this guy [Allu Arjun], man! My only regret is that I didn’t watch it in the hall. I watched it on the sofa with my wife which is also great. But Pushpa 2 I’ll be in the hall, that’s for sure.”
He further added, “Thank you Bengaluru for such warmth, for such kindness. I feel the love, I get extra love in Bengaluru and we all know the reason why.” In case you are wondering about the last part, Ranveer's wife Deepika Padukone hails from the city.
