What it takes to play game of Dungeons and Dragons with Stranger Things 4 cast? Noah and Gaten answer

Stranger Things 4 cast spoke to the global media during a press conference held recently. The show releases on Netflix on May 27, 2022.

Stranger Things fans are all excited about the fourth season finally releasing after years of anticipation. The cast shared their excitement about reuniting for the show and the new villain, Vecna, who is all set to wreak havoc in Upside Down. With the members of Dungeons and Dragons all set to fight this new challenge, we had the opportunity to attend the global press conference held by the makers. Joining us on a zoom call, the cast members Noah Schnapps, Gaten Matarazzo and Charlie Heaton answered a few questions from the media worldwide.

Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a popular game played on the show which helps them connect to stranger creatures in UPSIDE DOWN. Answering India Today’s question on what qualities would one need to play Dungeons and Dragons with the gang, Noah Schnapps (Will Byers) and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) hilariously added that one must have lost to look like an idiot. Gaten said, “A love for looking like an idiot. For not caring, be free-spirited, and in a no-judgement zone. A love for fun creativity and storytelling is needed to enjoy Dungeons and Dragons.

To this, Noah added, “You said it perfectly. Being passionate about it is important.” The team also teased about the upcoming dangers and how they became brothers over the years shooting for the show.

Noah and Charlie (Jonathan Byers) shared how they have seen each other grow on sets. "It's been great. I love filming with Charlie. He is a great brotherly figure to have and I do look up to him off the set as well, so it's nice to be able to film with him," Noah shared. Charlie added, "I remember seeing him in the first shot where he was so tiny and then now seeing him grow up, there is this sense of brotherly protection I feel."

Stranger Things 4 releases on May 27, 2022. The Volume 2 of the fourth season will be released in July.
