West Bengal releases evaluation method for Madhyamik, Uchha Madhyamik board exam results

The West Bengal government has released the evaluation method for the Class 10 Madhyamik, and Class 12 Uchha Madhyamik board exam results.

West Bengal on Friday announced the evaluation criteria for the Class 10 Madhyamik board exams and the Class 12 Uchha Madhyamik board exams after they were cancelled due to the Covid019 situation. A public poll conducted by the government had made it clear on June 7 that the overwhelming majority wanted the board exams to be cancelled. The CM had said on the day that the expert committee which had been advising on the board exam cancellation issue would decide on an alternative evaluation method. CM Mamata Banerjee had asked for the board exam results to be released asap so that students didn’t face any problems in applying for colleges. Both the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results will be out by July but no date has been fixed yet.
