Seven goats were burnt alive when the barn, owned by a day labourer, caught fire caused by an incense used for killing mosquitoes in the Malda district on Tuesday.

The fire broke out in the Bhaktipur village of Rashidabad gram panchayat in the Malda district.
The barn owner, Aptap Hossain, said that he had lit a quail in the barn room to repel the mosquitoes. The dry straw in the barn caught fire.
The locals rushed to put out the fire but could not control it. A fire engine arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control.
