India Today's Geeta Mohan spoke to the Ukrainian soldiers who are taking shelter in a bunker as they rest and resume duties to guard the frontlines as the Russian troops charge towards the city.

Nikolai, a Ukrainian soldier, is confident of a victory. He says, "The situation is difficult as it is in war times. We will win, we are ready. We are waiting"

Meanwhile, a Russian airstrike on Thursday at a maternity hospital in Mariupol killed three people and brought worldwide condemnation upon Moscow.
