Water level in Papanasam dam on Friday stood at 72.65 feet (the maximum permissible level is 143 ft.) with an inflow of 776.15 cusecs and discharge of 206 cusecs. The level in Manimuthar dam was 84.16 ft. (118 ft.) with an inflow of 44.61 cusecs and a discharge of 345 cusecs.
