Water level in Papanasam dam on Tuesday was 141.30 feet (maximum permissible level is 143 ft.) with an inflow of 1,102.05 cusecs and discharge of 191.60 cusecs. The level in Manimuthar dam was 113.27 ft (118 ft) with an inflow of 1,080.91 cusecs and discharge of 520 cusecs. Rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours ending 6 a.m. (in mm) is as follows: Papanasam: 4, Manimuthar: 1.6, Kannadiyan: 1.2, Manjolai: 10, Kakkachi: 13, Nalumukku: 8 and Oothu: 11.
