Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 131.55 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 675 cusecs and a discharge of 400 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the water level was 63.52 ft. (maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 205 cusecs and a discharge of 969 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 7,481.81 mcft. Thekkadi recorded a rainfall of 2.6 mm in the last 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Friday.
