The water level in Vaigai dam was 54.53 ft (max level 71 ft) with an inflow of 339 cusecs and a discharge of 72 cusecs. The rainfall (in mm) during the last 24 hours ending 6 a.m.: Manjalar: 14 and Periyar 8.8 mm, PWD officials said.
