Wanted criminal escapes police custody after aides throw chilli powder at Delhi cops

A wanted criminal escaped police custody after his aides threw chilli powder at Delhi police officials on Thursday. The incident happened while he was being taken to GTB hospital in Delhi.

A wanted criminal escaped police custody after his aides threw chilli powder at the officials while he was being taken to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTB) hospital in Delhi on Thursday. Officials said the accused, Kuldeep Maan alias Fajja, was being taken to the GTB hospital for treatment when more than five people threw red chilli powder at the police inside the hospital premises around 12:30 pm on Thursday, in an attempt to release the accused from custody. Following this, police opened fire at all the assailants who were travelling in a white Scorpio car and a bike.
