Volvo Car India has appointed Jonas Olsson as the Head of Digital Technology Hub with effect from June 1, 2021.
Bolstering its footprint in the country, Volvo Car India has announced an expansion of its Digital Technology Hub in Bangalore. The company has appointed Jonas Olsson as the Head of Digital Technology Hub with effect from June 1, 2021. Olsson was earlier the HR Director of Volvo Group IT for the APAC region. Having more than 20 years of experience with Volvo Group IT, he has been in India for the past 15 years. According to Volvo Car India, Olsson has played an instrumental role in setting up Volvo Group's IT delivery centre in Bangalore. "Volvo Cars Digital serves Volvo Cars globally with IT services and solutions. We do this in collaboration with an ecosystem of partners, which enables us to act fast, stay agile and at all times provide excellence in our services. The India-operations would be a full-fledged delivery organisation, which in collaboration with partners, will be an integral part of the digital deliveries, and support the overall vision and business objectives for Volvo Cars," Volvo Car India Digital Technology Hub Head Jonas Olsson said.
