Vivo V25 series officially confirmed to launch in India, here's the launch date

In terms of prices, the current-gen Vivo V23 is available at Rs 29,990, and the Vivo V23 Pro costs Rs 38,990. The Vivo V25 series smartphones could be priced around the same range.

Vivo has revealed the launch date of the Vivo V25 and V25 Pro in India. The phones will debut on August 17 at 12 PM IST. Similar to previous V-series smartphones, the upcoming V25 and V25 Pro will focus on cameras. For instance, the last Vivo V23 series has dual-front cameras along with LED lights designed for users who enjoy taking selfies. Vivo has revealed that the Vivo V25 will come with a single selfie camera and curved screen. The phone will also feature triple cameras on the back and have a blue colour option (at least).Other official details about the Vivo V25 and V25 Pro remain unclear, but India Today had learned a bit about the Pro model from an industry source. We learned that the Vivo V25 Pro includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The primary camera sensor has support for Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for sharper images and stable videos, as well as Super night mode. The secondary camera will likely get Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) support, the source revealed.The front panel houses a 32-megapixel Eye AF selfie camera. The Vivo V25 Pro will also feature 66W fast charging, which is a notable upgrade over the 44W fast charging tech on the Vivo V23 Pro.

Meanwhile, a separate leak claimed that the rear panel of the Vivo V25 Pro features a colour-changing technology with Fluorite AG Glass. Oppo has experimented with a similar technology with the Oppo F21 Pro. The phone reportedly features an AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to draw power from MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, which powers the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G.

We can expect the regular Vivo V25 to share some similarities, minus the curved screen. We will learn more about the two devices near the launch.
