Vikram Vedha star Hrithik Roshan bares his heart out, says 'through Vedha, I learnt to be unapologetic'

Hrithik Roshan penned an emotional note about his character Vedha from Vikram Vedha. The film was released on September 30, 2022.

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha opened to rave reviews from the critics and audience alike. Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, the film is the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie by the same name. It's been only three days since the film was released, and Vikram Vedha has minted over Rs 30 crore at the box office. Amid this, Hrithik bared his heart out and penned a note on social media.

Hrithik Roshan shared a video on his Instagram handle and shared his experience of playing Vedha in the Pushkar-Gayatri directorial. The caption to his post read, "Time to let go. I don’t know exactly when I started doing this. Or even why. But I realized today that i’v secretly done this for every character that terrified me. Mostly it’s a red mauli ( kabir wore that) and sometimes it’s a black thread. Can’t even remember when I started this. Was it kaho na pyaar hai ? Or koi mil gaya or much later ? ( Wil have to go back and check my wrists or neck in those films ) cause it’s never planned. Vedha got it at dress rehearsals n became it. Kabir got it at the War mahurat pooja and i made it a part of him. (sic)."

He further mentioned, "Vedha has been a terrific journey. Thru him I learnt to be. At peace with my failings. Unafraid and unapologetic. I will always be grateful to my directors and writers Pushkar and Gayatri for creating this opportunity. Thank you Vedha. I let go With love and gratitude (sic)."

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan will be next seen in Fighter. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and it stars Deepika Padukone opposite Hrithik. The actor is reportedly going to star as Dev in Brahmastra 2 and he has teased about his appearance as well.
