
Video: Stuck in flight for 4 hours in Chennai, IndiGo passengers lash out at crew

An IndiGo flight from Chennai to Singapore was delayed by over four hours with passengers kept onboard. The delay stemmed from technical issues and crew visa formalities, raising concerns about communication and operational challenges.
Over 200 passengers aboard an IndiGo flight from Chennai to Singapore endured a delay of more than four hours while seated inside the aircraft, leaving them annoyed and demanding explanations.
IndiGo flight 6E 1025 was scheduled to depart from Chennai International Airport at 7:20am on February 24. However, the aircraft eventually took off at 11:39am, after a delay of approximately four hours and 19 minutes.
Clips circulating on social media showed visibly agitated passengers inside the aircraft as the delay stretched on. Several travellers were seen questioning airline staff, while others recorded videos pointing out the extended wait time.

According to those onboard, passengers were not deboarded and remained seated inside the aircraft throughout the delay.
