Valimai box office collection Day 13: Ajith film enters profit zone in Tamil Nadu

Ajith Kumar's Valimai entered the profit zone within two weeks of its release. Directed by H Vinoth, the action film is produced by Boney Kapoor.

Ajith Kumar's Valimai has successfully entered the profit zone in Tamil Nadu, which has made producer Boney Kapoor, distributors and exhibitors happy. The film has crossed Rs 200 crore at the worldwide box office and continues to hold steady. Valimai's box office collection is likely to decline in the next couple of days as Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan and Prabhas-Pooja Hegde's Radhe Shyam are releasing this week.

After a long wait of two years, Ajith Kumar's Valimai graced the screens across the globe on February 24. Producer Boney Kapoor announced February 24 as Valimai Day and Ajith's fans followed suit. The film is running successfully in theatres.

According to film exhibitor Srither, the film entered the profit zone in Tamil Nadu. Distributors and exhibitors, who were associated with the film, are happy with the results. Srither's post read, "valimai entered profit zone for exibitor&distribution Tamil nadu (sic)."

Apart from Tamil Nadu, Valimai has been declared the first theatrical hit of 22 in Singapore. The Twitter handle of Movies Singapore wrote, "1st Theatrical Hit of 2022 in Singapore (Kollywood) - #Valimai. Despite many obstacles the brand & star-value of #AjithKumar was enough to make this a box-office hit !! (Sic)."
