US investor gets an edible pitch from startup that's truly 'a piece of cake'

A US investor received a startup pitch uniquely printed and presented on a giant cake. The creative move received mixed reactions on social media about marketing and product focus.
A US man shared how someone tried to pitch their company in perhaps the sweetest way possible, literally, by delivering a massive cake to his office with the pitch printed onto it.
Entrepreneur Sheel Mohnot, currently based in San Francisco, California, shared the unusual moment on X, writing, “Someone just came and delivered an absolutely massive cake to our office as a pitch for their company.”
He then added, “Definitely one way to get attention! Who wants some cake?”
Along with the post, he shared a photo of the oversized cake - rectangular, frosted in light blue icing, and designed to resemble a printed startup pitch deck. The surface of the cake appeared to feature sections like “What we’re building,” “How it works,” “Go-to-market,” and “Raise,” mimicking the layout of an actual investor presentation.
The branding “Better Tomorrow Ventures” was also visible, making it clear the cake was tailored specifically for the recipient.
One corner of the cake had already been cut out, proof that while it was a marketing stunt, it was also very much edible.

Leon Panetta said Iran war was not an unexpected risk. He pointed out that for years, US security officials have known Iran could disrupt global oil supplies by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, this was a well-known danger, but one that appears to have been overlooked in the current conflict.
