American forces reportedly destroyed the final CIA base in Kabul as they pressed ahead to finish evacuation mission by August 31.

Ahead of the August 31 deadline, American forces are said to have destroyed the final CIA base in Kabul, as per media reports. The New York Times reported that the CIA outpost outside the Kabul airport was destroyed on Thursday, just hours after a deadly suicide blast outside the airport that killed as many as 169 Afghans and 13 American service members.
