US eatery’s bizarre South Indian menu has Twitter facepalming hard. Seen it yet?

The names used on the menu to describe staples like dosa and vada will simply make you cringe.

In case you didn’t know, crepes are a type of savory dish that can be had as a dessert as well. But turns out, the word crepe was used on the menu to describe dosas! That’s not all. Vada and rasam were described as Dunked Donut Delight, while Uttapam was described as Classic Lentil Pancake. Yes, we are not kidding.

Also, don’t miss the name given to plain dosa.

The tweet has garnered over 20k likes since being shared and many reactions. People couldn’t stop facepalming at the odd choice of words used to describe the South Indian dishes. While many pointed out that it was necessary to attract customers in a foreign country, others plainly commented that the names simply took away the desiness from the dishes.
