The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board allowed corrections after receiving numerous requests. Candidates have been given a limited window to fix errors before the recruitment process moves ahead.
A major relief came for thousands of candidates who applied for the UP Police constable recruitment as the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board opened a correction window for application forms.
The decision was taken after the board received many requests from applicants seeking changes in their submitted details.
According to the official announcement, candidates will be able to make corrections in their online application forms from January 31 at 6 am to February 3 at 6 am.
The board made it clear that this facility is strictly time-bound and will not be extended under any circumstances.
The recruitment board advised candidates to use this opportunity carefully, as no further chance will be provided once the correction window closes. Officials said the move was aimed at ensuring fairness and avoiding disqualification of candidates due to minor errors.
The board has asked candidates to thoroughly review their application forms during the correction period.
